Plans, trial, and allowances

These plans apply to hosted SimplePost. Self-hosted deployments and direct local SDK/CLI publishing use your own infrastructure and provider credentials; hosted subscription gates do not apply to those local paths.

Every plan includes the ten hosted platforms, previews, and scheduling. You supply your own AI assistant subscription. Choose a plan or manage your subscription.

Free trial

Eligible new users get 7 days with all Pro features, 10 scheduled or published targets per platform, and up to 20 total segments in one thread. No credit card is required. Choosing a paid plan starts paid access and replaces trial limits immediately. A completed trial does not restart when you sign in again.

What counts as a post

Paid plans: usage counts saved SimplePost post records created during the subscription billing period, including drafts, scheduled posts, published posts, and failed posts. One record targeting several accounts counts once. A thread in that record also counts once. Editing that record does not create another charge against the monthly count; duplicating it or using Edit and Retry creates a new record. Deleting a record removes it from the current record count. Allowances follow your subscription period, not necessarily the calendar month.

Trial: drafts do not consume the per-platform allowance. Scheduling or publishing counts each selected account against its platform, including posts that later fail. A post targeting two X accounts uses two X slots. Thread segments do not each consume another slot, but the thread-length limit still applies. A retry that creates a new record consumes allowance again. Deleting a record or returning it to draft where supported removes it from this usage count. The allowance spans the whole trial and does not reset daily.

Automatic reposts do not create a second post record, but still require active access and are subject to provider and dispatch limits. Connected accounts each count toward your account allowance, including multiple accounts on the same platform.

When access ends

There is no automatic charge when a no-card trial ends. Workspace access and publishing are blocked until you choose a plan. Your connected account records, drafts, and stored posts remain saved.

A scheduled post that becomes due without active access is marked Failed. Subscribing restores access but does not automatically republish missed posts. Open Posts → Failed, inspect the result, and use Edit and Retry with the intended accounts and a new time. A post still scheduled for the future can publish if access is restored before it is due. Recovery steps.

Platform limits and X costs

There is no separate SimplePost X-credit balance or top-up. Hosted allowances apply to X as they do to other hosted platforms. Operators who bring their own provider app pay any provider fees separately.

Provider limits, account eligibility, moderation, and media rules can still block delivery. Scheduler dispatch throttling is an operational queue limit, not a per-user daily allowance: the current dispatcher budgets fifteen attempts per minute per standard platform across the deployment (ten for Forem). Do not interpret that budget as a guaranteed publishing rate. Platform requirements.

Change or cancel a plan

Use Subscription in your profile menu. Review the displayed plan and billing details before confirming a change or cancellation. Only an explicit paid-plan action opens checkout; opening a documentation link or selecting a plan preference does not purchase anything. Check the subscription page for the effective end date of your access.
